Softeam R&D team, University of York and Politecnico di Milano are currently editing the "Industry and Research Perspectives on Embedded System Design" book to be published by IGI Global (www.igi-global.com) and scheduled for release in 2014.
All contributions from practitioners of the embedded systems community, both from the industry as well as the academia, involved in European research projects focusing on real-time and embedded systems are very welcome!
